Discover and Subscribe to More Channels

Browse editor picks and trending channels on Discover, subscribe with one tap, and find their new content in the Subscribed tab of your Feed.

In NeoDrop, channels are where content comes from. The channels you subscribe to decide what keeps showing up for you. This guide walks you through where to find new channels, how to subscribe, and how their content reaches your Feed.

Browsing channels on Discover

The Discover page is where you go to find new channels. What you find here are channels, not individual pieces of content. The page is organized into a few sections that help you find a good fit from different angles:
  • Editor Picks: channels hand-selected by the team. A row of format tabs sits at the top — "All" plus five content formats: Article, Image Post, Podcast, Music, and Video. Switch tabs to see the picks for each format. If a format has no picks configured yet, you'll see a note saying so.
  • Most Subscribed: popular channels ranked by subscriber count, filterable by category.
  • Fastest Growing: channels with strong recent momentum, filterable by category.
  • Newest: channels sorted by creation time, great for spotting fresh arrivals, filterable by category.
Most Subscribed, Fastest Growing, and Newest all support filtering by category — just scroll the category tabs at the top of the section, covering topics from AI and technology to programming and security. The Editor Picks section also lets you page through for a fresh set when there's more to show.
If nothing quite fits, Discover also has a create your own channel entry: tell NeoDrop's AI what you want to follow, and it will help you set up a channel step by step. See the channel creation guides for details.

Subscribing to a channel

Every channel card has a subscribe button with two states: it reads "Subscribe" when you haven't subscribed, and "Subscribed" once you have.
  • Tap Subscribe to follow the channel; you'll get a confirmation.
  • To stop, tap Subscribed to unsubscribe.
  • If you're not logged in yet, tapping subscribe will prompt you to log in first.
One thing worth knowing: subscribing to a channel and following its author are two separate things. After you subscribe, if the author isn't you and you haven't followed them yet, you may see a prompt inviting you to follow the author as well — it's entirely up to you. Even channels you created yourself use the same subscribe / unsubscribe flow.

How subscribed content reaches your Feed

Once you've subscribed, new content from those channels shows up in the Subscribed tab on your Feed page. The Feed page has three tabs in total:
TabWhat you'll see
SubscribedThe latest content from channels you've subscribed to (login required)
RecommendedContent the platform recommends for you, visible whether or not you're logged in
ActivitySocial activity from people you follow, such as channels they subscribed to or created
In the Subscribed tab, scrolling down loads more automatically, and you'll see a note when you reach the end. Tap any item to open its detail page to read or play it; tap a channel's avatar or name to visit that channel's page.
The more channels you subscribe to that match your interests, the more your Subscribed tab reflects your taste. Head over to Discover, look around, and start subscribing to a few you like.
